CHANSA MWILA – C.E.O

Chansa is a results-driven Chief Executive Officer with a forward-thinking approach centered on company success and competitive growth. She has demonstrated a record of success in building a great team and managing profitable operations.

A holder of a Master’s degree in business administration and an Innovative Executive Officer bringing progressive career spanning operations, sales and marketing, business management and a track record of remarkable growth in the company. She has excellent business acumen and strategic planning skills to drive profitability and margins year over year. Known for strong leadership and communication skills to build and maintain profitable relationships while exceeding revenue goals.

Possesses years of experience at the American Chamber of Commerce in Zambia along with an entrepreneurial, forward-thinking mindset that has seen the Chamber increase its membership by strengthening its value proposition and introducing new programs that exercise thought leadership. She is passionate about advocacy and providing a voice for the business community.

TUMELO CHITINDI BWALYA – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Tumelo holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Zambia in Economics and Public Administration. She brings with her experience from both the public and private sectors.

Tumelo has worked with government under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry as well as the Ministry’s Country Programs with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). She has also worked with the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development with the aim of assisting the youth to take a leading role in the development of Zambia.

In more recent times, she has with the private sector as Corporate Sales Manager of Topstar Communications Company Limited the only government authorized public signal distributor. Tumelo is an innovative team player that aims to use her skills to achieving the overall goals and objectives of the Chamber.

OSWARD M. NZIMAH – COMMUNICATIONS AND ADMINISTRATION ASSOCIATE

Osward has had his footprint predominantly in the media industry working in Operations as well as content creation and management in the private sector. He has worked on various media content creation projects with large firms such as Engen, Marcopolo Tiles (Wonderful Group), Revin Zambia, Zambian Home Loans, Astria Digital Learning, among others.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Education from the University of Zambia. He also has certificates in Basic Information and Communication Technology, Project Planning and Management as well as Monitoring and Evaluation.

Osward is a very creative and innovative team player with a wealth of experience that will benefit the Chamber in achieving its goals and objectives.

MIRRIAM LUNGU – POLICY RESEARCH AND ADVOCACY ASSOCIATE MANAGER

Mirriam is a graduate from the University of Zambia where she pursued a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Development studies.

She brings with her experience from a non-profit organization known as Amini Center for policy research. While here, she worked as a researcher in the International relations department.

Mirriam is results oriented and aims at enhancing the position of the Chamber.

HANINGA MUCHELEMBA – GRADUATE INTERN

Haninga Muchelemba is a recent graduate from the Copperbelt University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Project Management. With a passion for investment, business, management, and the corporate industry, Haninga has set his sights on a career that allows him to combine his interests and leverage his skills to make a difference.

His strong academic background, coupled with his hands-on experience, has positioned Haninga as a competent and enthusiastic young professional. As a graduate intern at the American Chamber of Commerce in Zambia, Haninga is eager to learn and contribute his skills to the organization’s mission of promoting trade and investment between Zambia and the United States.
